Managing the day to day operations of Blues101 Ltd is Sally Garner.
Sally has an extensive experience of organising blues festivals in New Zealand.
In the 1990s,as part of Hamilton Blues Society, Sally organised several very successful festivals - "Blues on Bourbon Street" - in Hamilton, featuring national harmonica and guitar competitions along with a galaxy of NZ blues talent, such as Midge Marsden, Hammond Gamble and many others.
Since moving to Rotorua in 2002, Sally has been an organiser of festivals such as "Last of the Summer Wine", the National Blues Festival (for BOP Blues Club) and the summer event, "BluesFeast".
Until 2011, as vice president of BOP Blues Club in Rotorua, Sally was instrumental in bringing international acts to perform at the club, such as Doug McLeod, HansTheessink, Mike Cooper, Big Joe Louis, and many others.
As business partner of husband, Mike Garner, Sally has acted as road manager on several of Mike's overseas tours, including Australia and New Caledonia.
